CANCELLATION POLICY

All booking requests that are confirmed by us are subject to our cancellation policy. The cancellation fee applies to the total of services booked and confirmed at the moment of cancellation; including lodging, food & beverage, catering, spa- and other services. A cancellation should be communicated in writing, using fax or Email.

 

Some of our special offers and promotions have specific conditions and terms with a different cancellation policy. Please note the specific conditions and terms of the offer or promotion when making your booking.

 

STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations up to 3 weeks prior to planned arrival: no cancellation fee. Cancellations up to 1 week prior to arrival: 25% cancellation fee. Up to 72 hours before arrival: 50% cancellation fee. Reservations canceled shorter than 72 hours before planned arrival will be fully charged.

 

PAYMENT TERMS & CANCELLATION POLICY FOR RESERVATIONS FOR LARGER GROUPS (10 ROOMS OR MORE)
10% non–refundable prepayment of accommodation charges is due at the moment of confirmation of booking.
40% non–refundable prepayment of accommodation charges is due 6 months before the date of the event.
The remainder of 50% of accommodation charges and 100% of other charges (food & beverage, entertainment etc) are due 6 weeks before the date of the event.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR LUNCH AND DINNER ARRANGEMENTS FOR GROUPS
Cancellations up to 72 hours prior to arrival: no cancellation fee. Cancellations up to 48 hours prior to arrival: 25% cancellation fee.
Up to 24 hours before arrival: 50% cancellation fee. Reservations canceled shorter than 24 hours before planned arrival will be fully charged.

NUMBER OF GUESTS
The number of lunch or dinner guests may be changed up to a maximum of 20% upwards or downwards until 24 hours before planned arrival.
CHANGE OF ARRIVAL TIME
Changes in the confirmed arrival time can be requested by Email up to 24 hours before planned arrival. We will try to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee this due to possible other reservations.
EARLY AND LATE ARRIVALS
The reserved tables will be ready for seating at the confirmed arrival time. In case of early arrival we ask for your understanding if we cannot seat your group immediately. In case of late arrival we will hold the reserved table with a maximum of an extra 30 minutes. Should your group arrive more than 30 minutes late we unfortunately cannot guarantee the availability of tables since they might have been given away to other clients meanwhile. If we cannot accommodate your guests because of an arrival later than 30 minutes after the confirmed arrival time, we reserve the right to charge the full amount of this reservation even in the case that we were not able to host your group.

For reservations made at Alexander restaurant in Pädaste Manor the following reservation and cancellation policy applies.

 

RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY SEA HOUSE TERRACE FOR LARGER GROUPS
Bookings for 7 guest or more at the Sea house Terrace are subject to our reservation and cancellation policy for larger groups at the Sea House Terrace.

 

POLICY ON SUSTAINABLE TOURISM

Pädaste Manor is located in pristine nature, with parks, woods and forest and a protected shoreline. Our grounds & surroundings are known for their rich biodiversity. From the first day we opened in 1997, we have realized the fragility of the nature, culture and traditions on Muhu Island.

We carry out practices that encourage a sustainable development of the local environment and culture.
In our kitchen we prefer the use of local produce and we respect the seasons. We encourage local farmers to grow and raise produce for us while our salads, greens and herbs are grown in the Manor garden.
We use landheating technology, which allows us to be for 70% self-sustainable in our energy needs for heating of the manor.
We actively support the works of local craftsmen and artisans and encourage local folk traditions.

As a founding member of the Muhu Tourism Association we actively encourage a sustainable tourism development with a small footprint on the Island.
